GSL Comercio Exterior: from catalog to compliance system.
A WordPress site that grew into the back office of a foreign-trade consultancy: products, certificates, permits and every procedure, with progress and alerts in one screen.
The challenge
Paperwork with deadlines that can’t slip.
GSL handles regulatory procedures for international trade. Each one moves through stages, from sample shipment to lab tests and certification, with documents, clients and expiry dates attached. They needed a public catalog for clients and a back office their team could trust every day.
What we built
A back office, grown step by step.
We started with the site and a product catalog, then grew it into a procedure tracker built on custom WordPress plugins: structured data, role-based access, imports and exports, and a dashboard that shows where every procedure stands and how long it has been there.
Progress at a glance
Every stage, color-coded.
Each row shows the current state, a dot per milestone and an alert when a stage runs long, like a lab test that has been open for weeks.
- Milestones, states and documents per procedure
- Time-in-stage counters with visual alerts
- Filters for in-progress and finished procedures
- Search by model or internal code
